Users are able to collaborate with others on videos, participate in popular challenges, use hashtags, and write captions. Videos on TikTok range from dance videos, cooking videos, craft and art tutorials, challenges or prank trends etc. Many celebrities and micro-celebrities use TikTok to participate in viral trends and challenges. - TikTok - making a 'TikTok' refers to a user creating a video. It is easy to use, with a record function, ability to quickly edit videos, cut them, add in filters and music tracks, and tag other users. They may use hashtags to participate in viral or current trends.
- Reactions - Users with an account can react to other's videos, and will then appear in their own account's liked' feed.
- Commenting - As with other social media sites, users can comment on one another's content.
