Students in the Art Department have been working really hard on their distance learning tasks and we have been impressed by their amazing attitude to their own learning. Can I take this opportunity also to thank all the parents who have helped and supported the students with their Art during distance learning. This work is just a snap shot of what our amazing students have been creating over the two months. Yr 7 have developed some fantastic Architectural studies and Year 8 have been working on a Graphics piece based on the theme ‘Heroes and Heroines’ with an amazing poster and book covers designs. YR 9 and 10 GCSE students have been working on artist contextual research and observation drawing whilst Yr 12 have been working on mock exam pieces based on set exam board themes such as Moon, Flight and Aperture! Well done all and keep up the great efforts!
