Oldbury Wells raises £956.50 for Children in Need
On Friday 13th November, students took part in a non-uniform day to raise money for Children in Need.
Our non-uniform day was a huge success last Friday, as the school dressed down for the day and donated at least £1 in aid of Children in Need. Around school, some pupils wore Pudsey ears which was great to see, and our staff got involved too. Our catering team sold Pudsey-topped cakes at lunchtime too!
Our screens around school explained to our students the importance of charities such as Children in Need, and the positive impact that their donations can make. It's great to see our students supporting causes such as this, and recognising societal issues around them.
We are delighted to announce that in total, we raised £956.50 for Children in Need. Well done to all involved.
A selection of pictures from the day can be found on our social medias, and a further selection will be displayed in our Oldbury Wells Christmas Journal.
