Introduction

Facebook is a platform where users connect with friends and family, through their personal profiles and 'Facebook wall'. Here, users can post information about their relationships, family members, interests, photos, workplaces, schools, occupation etc. Users can connect with others by becoming a 'friend' and can accept or decline requests from others. Facebook also has a joined platform called 'Messenger' where users can privately interact with one another by sending messages.

  • Friends - users can connect with one another by accepting, declining, or sending friend requests to others. 
  • Status Update - users can write a status and select to add media, emotions, tag other people, places or pages to it. 
  • Groups - users can join Facebook groups with shared interests
  • Pages - users can follow or like Facebook pages to see the latest updates (like the Oldbury Wells Facebook page)
  • Reactions - users can 'react' to others posts, photos, videos, and updates
  • Live - with this feature, users can broadcast 'live' videos to their other followers to show what they are doing.
