Your teacher will give you much more detailed information about how to revise and when to schedule specific revision.

As a broad overview, you should:

Complete all the home learning set and work as hard as you can in lessons. Everything that is in the mock exams will be revisited in class before the mock exams start.

Revise your Shakespeare text:

  1. Know the context – how was life different at the time the play was written? How did these things influence the text?
  2. Know the plot – write summaries of each act and scene
  3. Make character mind maps for all the major characters
  4. Learn key information about major themes
  5. Learn 20 – 30 key quotes off by heart
  6. Practice extract style questions

Practise unseen poetry – listen carefully to the advice from your teacher
