London Visit Diary Day One
After a bright and early start History students have enjoyed a full day in the capital.
The focus of our investigation was the heart of London and how History is represented today. After a trip down the Thames, students analysed Parliament square and what it says today about our Parliamentary democracy. Downing Street was all of a buzz waiting for an appearance from London Mayor Sadiq Khan. We ended the day looking at the ‘bones and stones’ of London today at the museum of London with students competing to take the most interesting historical selfie. We are all looking forward to the dark side of London’s past on our second day.
