Inspiring Education, Inspiring Lives!

Year 8's visit Quarry Bank Mill

The trip was an introduction to their topic learning about the Industrial Revolution.

They were led around the site by volunteer guides, who taught them about the history of the mill, what life was like for workers and young people when it was working, and showed them around the site. They saw the apprentice house where young workers lived, the mill itself with machine demonstrations inside, and walked around the village.

They asked and answered questions today, and demonstrated brilliant behaviour so well done to all that went along.
